The Library will no longer offer New Book Alerts service after January 31, 2022

Effective February 1, 2022, due to budgetary constraints, Dauphin County Library System will no longer be offering the New Book Alerts service to its members.

While we have enjoyed providing you with this service, we understand this is disappointing to New Book Alert subscribers and users. In an effort to help you find your next good read, we invite you to try DiscoverREADs, The Library’s newest readers’ advisory eNewsletter that allows you to choose the types of featured books that are delivered to your inbox every month.
NoveList Plus is also available to The Library’s members. With this free resource you can search by authors and titles you like, track series, read reviews and more. To find out about new items coming to The Library’s shelves please visit our Coming Soon page or try our Book Advisor service, where a librarian can help you find your next new title. These and more resources can be found on The Library’s website or by visiting your local library

We are happy to say that as a member of The Library, you will continue to have access to eBooks, eMagazines, and eAudiobooks through Libby and Overdrive.
We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion this may cause you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if I can be of assistance.
