The Library's Meeting Rooms

Welcome to the Meeting Room Reservation Page

Please be advised:

On Wednesday, May 17, room reservations for June will be shut down and will reopen on Thursday, June 1, 2023.

You should also know, The Library has begun the process of changing Meeting Room platforms for reservations and calendar listing. With this change in platform comes a change in the timing of reserving meeting rooms. On June 1, room reservations will open on a 60-day rolling schedule. For example, on June 15 you will have the ability to reserve rooms through August 14.

Please be assured that any reservations you have already made for June will be transferred to the new calendar system. If any problems are noted or more information is needed, we will reach out to you as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to reach out to us at roomrequest@dcls.org.

Please read the Meeting Room Policy before you reserve a room. See below for meeting room capacities and charges for for-profit events, after-hours use and private social events such as birthday parties, baby showers, holiday parties, etc. To reserve a meeting room, the group or individual reserving the room must agree to The Library's Meeting Room Agreement by checking the box on the reservation form, be 18 or older and agree to follow all library policies and pay charges for any damages and additional cleanup when applicable.

Room reservations will reopen on June 1.

Did you know that we also have virtual ZoomRooms available at no cost for your meeting needs?

Room Reservation Timing

Room reservations are accepted on a 60-day rolling schedule. For example, on June 15 you will have the ability to reserve rooms through August 14. This is a permanent change to our room reservation system. If you have any questions or concerns please email roomrequest@dcls.org

There are two ways to reserve a meeting room.

1) Request a reservation for your event by clicking on Reserve a Room. Be sure to check the room availability by clicking on the Public Meeting Room Calendar above.

  • - You will receive confirmation of your request

  • - The reservation is not final until you receive a second email stating the meeting room use request is approved.

2) Rooms can also be used on a first-come-first-served basis by checking availability at the library’s customer service desk.

Please note the following:

  • - You must agree to the adhere to the Meeting Room Policy to book a room.
  • - The person making the reservation is responsible for the room and must check in at the front desk 10 minutes prior to the start of the event (See Meeting Room Policy)
  • - Organizations not fulfilling their obligations as stated in this and other library system policies and procedures may be denied use of the library’s meeting room facilities until these obligations have been met to the library system’s satisfaction.

  • Contact a Staff member about making changes to a confirmed reservation.
