Board Nominating Committee

The Board Nominating Committee is responsible for the recruitment and training of The Library Board members. This includes orientation of new board members, assignment of a board mentor, oversight of annual individual trustee action plans, and continuing education of current board members. This committee also identifies and selects board members to serve in officer and other leadership positions. Work of the committee includes making recommendations to the Dauphin County Commissioners with respect to the 5 slots (of 17) that they are responsible for filling. The Board Nominating Committee is chaired by the Immediate Past President. The committee currently meets the second Monday of odd numbered months at 8:30 a.m at Giant on Lingelstown Road.
