HARRISBURG, Pa. — Calling all children with creative minds! During the “On Your Mark… Get Set… READ!” 2016 Summer Reading Club, The Library will host an “Almost Anything Goes” Derby. Design, build and race your derby car to the finish line. There is only one catch: You must use our wheels! The Library will have a number of materials to build a car from, or kids can bring their own supplies to craft a truly unique design. Try racing a block of cheese, a kart built from Legos, or, perhaps, even a baseball mitt. Can your design cross the finish line first? Program length one hour, no registration required.
