HARRISBURG, Pa. — While most sporting events are initially captured live on television, there exists a number of great books with sports themes. During The Library’s, “On Your Mark… Get Set… READ!” Summer Reading Club, join other fans for a lively discussion on all books with a subject of sports. All participants will get a chance to share what they like about their favorite sports-themed book, regardless of genre.
“Sports Talk” will be held at Madeline L. Olewine Memorial Library on Mondays, July 11 and August 15. The discussions will begin at 6:30 p.m. and continue for about an hour. These book discussions are geared towards older teens and adults. Registration is required. To register, visit dcls.org or your local library.
The “On Your Mark… Get Set… READ!” Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Dauphin County Library System, American Sentinel Insurance Company, BB&T, Capital BlueCross, Centric Bank, Fulton Bank, M & T Bank, Metro Bank and Mid Penn Bank with additional support provided by Wells Fargo.
