This is a good time to become a member of The Library.
During these challenging times, our staff has been working to make sure that free library service is available to all Dauphin County residents digitally as well as in our libraries.
Best of all—it’s all free . . . and the only limit is your imagination! Of course, borrowing books, magazines, music CDs, DVDs, board and video games, audiobooks, using public computers and Internet access, Wi-Fi, and laptops are also free to library members.
We encourage you to take advantage of any or all of The Library at Your Place services:
Curbside Pickup to order books and materials—we’ll bring them to your car!
Ask a Librarian to help you find good, reliable information.
Borrow eBooks, eAudiobooks, and music through OverDrive and Hoopla.
eResources Learning for access to medical information, new language learning, online educational options for children and adults, and much more.
School Tools for access to learning tools for kids from elementary school through high school, including test preparation resources. Adult continuing education tools are also available.
Virtual Programming for children and adults held online via Zoom, the Adult Programs at The Library Facebook Group, or on the Beyond the Shelves Blog.
Connect with us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to learn the latest about what your library is doing and share your thoughts. Have a question or comment? We’d love to hear from you!
