Online Access Code Services:
- After filling out this form, you will receive a welcome email that includes a temporary code that will allow you to set up your account and sign into The Library's resources.
- You will receive your new library card in the mail in 7 to 10 business days unless, after a review, there are questions regarding your new registration. In that case, a library staff member will be in contact with you.
- We reserve the right to revoke access if you have an existing account or are connected to an account that is not in good standing. We will contact you if there is a problem with your registration. Please provide a valid email address and phone number.
- You can place holds on library materials, borrow eContent, and use Online Resources with your online access code. When you are ready to pick up your materials, you can visit The Library with identification to complete your card registration. Once you have completed your registration, you will also be able to sign on to The Library computers.
- Beginning January 1st, 2022: Access to our Hoopla online product will be limited to Dauphin County residents, with the exception of those living in Derry Township or Middletown Borough, which are outside our service area. If unsure how this change may affect you, please contact one of our Dauphin County libraries.
Who Can Register Online:
- PA residents of Dauphin, Perry, or Cumberland County.
Need a Different Option?
- Applicants outside of Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry Counties should check their local library card for the blue Access PA logo. This designates your local library as a participant in the Access PA program. Bring your local card with the logo to any DCLS library to obtain a DCLS card.
- Individuals who live outside of Pennsylvania may pay a fee to use The Library’s services. Visit The Library in person to register.
Lost or Stolen Cards:
- If you have lost your card, do not register for an online access code. Instead, please contact your Library
immediately.
