On November 14, 2001, Dauphin County Library System and Cumberland County Library System were awarded a grant from Verizon. Dauphin and Cumberland County Commissioners, Harrisburg Mayor Steve Reed, DCLS Executive Director Rich Bowra and CCLS Exectutive Director Jonelle Darr joined with students from Holy Family and the library community to welcome Verizon and their internationally reknown spokesman, James Earl Jones.
