Alexander Family LibraryThe Adult Computer Station David & Jeanne Lutz have been serving Hummelstown for more than thirty-eight years as Rhoads Pharmacy & Gift Shop at 17 West Main street. Now they are extending that community service in the form of support for the new Hummelstown Library. David is owner Pharmacist and Jeanne is owner Gift and Office Manager. They have always been completely dedicated to the Hummelstown community and have been committed to helping with anything that required support, such as donations to School projects, Service organizations, Charity causes, borough functions and many other worthwhile efforts. Parents of five children and with a family that includes 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, they are professionally and personally invested in providing a strong community for future generations. Trained as a Pharmacist at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, David realizes that the number one service to customers is knowledge. For thirty-eight years he and his staff have counseled patients and have been a source of information for medication management therapy, proper use of medications, and general overall healthy living. In keeping with that educational commitment to the community, it is fitting that David and Jeanne want to sponsor the Adult Computer Area for the Library which represents a self-help educational center for adults. They are excited about the opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to them.
