Nominate Someone Today

Nominate them for a Haly!

If selected, your nominee will receive an award presented at The Library’s Light the Way to Learning Banquet during National Library Week in April. Award winners will receive two free tickets to the dinner in addition to their recognition award. And you will have a chance to win a free ticket yourself just for submitting your nomination –– you will be notified by email or telephone within two weeks of the nomination deadline.

The nomination form should be EITHER completed online (fill out the PDF form fields, hit the submit button, and send via email) OR printed and completed by hand. Once completed, paper forms can be returned to any of our eight library locations or faxed to 234-7479.

Person of the Year Award
An individual who has made a critical contribution to the community in support of the goals of The Library mission, which include education, literacy, lifelong learning and encouraging an informed and active citizenry.

Organization of the Year Award
An organization that has partnered with The Library to produce a significant improvement or extension of library service in our community.

Catalyst Award
A person or group who has had a significant positive impact on the provision of public library service within Dauphin County or the state.

Award winners receive a recognition award and two free tickets to the awards banquet featuring award winning author Lev Grossman. Your nomination automatically qualifies you to be entered in a drawing to receive a free ticket to the event—you will be notified by phone or email within two weeks of the nomination deadline if you are a winner.
