POWER Library is offered as a service of Pennsylvania's public libraries, school libraries and the State Library.

The POWER library allows access to thousands of full text periodical articles, newspapers, a major encyclopedia, plus photographs, pictures, charts, maps, reference materials for young people and more. You will find materials of interest in most subject areas for all age groups from young children to adults.

The leading source for test preparation materials and interactive practice exams based on official tests.

When creating your "Learning Express" user account, enter your DCLS library card barcode number as your username.

Creating an account with your library card number will allow access to your selections from any location with an Internet connection and a web browser.

Newsbank provides full-text access to the Harrisburg Patriot-News from 8/1/1986-present.

The database provides basic and advanced searching and can be limited by date.
