The Library provides a wide variety of programming for families and children of all ages. These programs help children and families explore their world and discover how to satisfy their curiosity.

BookRATs (Ages 6-11)
BookRATs (Read And Talk) is a monthly book discussion group for 6-11 year olds. Read a book (we'll choose a topic--you choose a book) and talk about what you've read. You'll also do a craft or activity, have a snack and may pick a book for next month's meeting. Program length: 45 minutes. Registration Limit: 20.>> Register for Session 6 (September/October)
Daddy & Me (Ages 3-6)Calling all Dads! Bring your child to this unique storytime where you and your young ones will hear stories, sing songs, and share your love of reading. Program length: 45 minutes. Registration Limit: 15.
Drop In & Discover! (All Ages)Not sure what to expect from our Discovery Programs? Drop in throughout the hour to sample some stories, crafts and activities from Explore Art, Discover Math & Science, Get Moving and more -- all in one place! Family Fun (All Ages)
Free quality time for each family! Come to The Library for a program filled with crafts, music and other fun activities. Program length: 45 minutes, Registration Limit: 15>> Register for Session 6 (September/October)
Family Game (All Ages)
Share the fun of playing family-friendly games while you spend some quality time together at The Library. Program length: 60 minutes, Registration Limit: 15 families>> Register for Session 6 (September/October)
Family Movie (All Ages - Recommended Ages 6+) Relax and enjoy a free family-friendly movie together. Recommended for children ages 6 and up. No registration required.>> Register for Session 6 (September/October)
Paws2Read (Ages 6-11)
Join registered therapy dogs for a fun session of reading. This special program encourages children of all reading levels to read to the easiest and most willing audience – a dog. Each child has the opportunity to read to the dog for about 15 minutes. Registration for this program is by appointment. Please contact Youth Services Programming & Outreach at 566-0949 ext 217 to schedule your time.
