    Flint Zeigler

Central Pennsylvania native Flint Zeigler brings his roots music to the arts series stage. With influences ranging from Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen to George Jones and Merle Haggard, Zeigler brings a unique voice to his singing and his songwriting. He began his professional career as the lead singer and guitarist of Grantham Road. Zeigler enjoyed success with the band’s two albums. But Zeigler says that he “always looked forward to the day when it would just be me and my guitar up there, singing and speaking directly to people’s hearts with songs that mean a lot to me.”

    Mary Kelly

In 1986, Mary Kelly began her work in the arts of spinning and weaving.  She, her husband, John, and their two sons restored an 1848 brick farmhouse and several outbuildings in Powell’s Valley near Halifax and converted the outbuildings to studios for weaving, spinning, baskets, dried flowers and pottery.  In the fall of 2002, after taking early retirement as a corporate trainer at Hershey Chocolate Corporation, Mary took a 10 week "Introduction To Pottery" course at Harrisburg Area Community College and used this as a foundation for teaching others. Mary offers hands-on classes in weaving and pottery to children and adults.  She displays her work in a shop in her home as well as at the Millersburg Area Art Association. Her work will be on display at The Library throughout March.
