This is a stand alone book by Christian fiction author Karen Kingsbury.  I thought it was a pretty good book, and it made me cry like most of her books do.  I did think it was a little too optimistic about the recovery of children with autism.  While I'm not saying miracles can't occur, it was just a bit too over the top for me.
